Collection Manager (m/f/d)

• Monitor customer payment performance and account behaviour
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate effective debt collection activities
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise collection performance
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to support timely payments
• Clarify and resolve outstanding claims and payment-related issues
• Manage enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders professionally and promptly
• Manage accounts receivable and prepare accurate monthly reporting
• Take proactive measures to mitigate credit risks and exposure
• Support and manage the dunning process until handover to the recovery team
• Participate in internal projects and assist the Team Leader with ad hoc tasks and special assignments

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–5 years of experience in credit and collections or a related field
• Experience in banking or financial services is considered an advantage but is not mandatory
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on collection-related activities
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage
• Experience managing high-volume customer communications and payment reminder campaigns is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities
• Demonstrated patience and the ability to perform well under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English; additional language skills are considered an advantage
